Highlander Virtual is free and open to all students in grades K-12 who live in Livingston County and the surrounding areas.
Students have access to all the learning resources, experiences and support services of Howell Public Schools. They’ll be connected with teachers—both online and in-person (as needed)—and be able to participate in sports, performing arts, social activities, and clubs. Core content area courses were developed by local teachers to meet the highest academic standards. Students and families may elect to participate in select in-person electives (Advanced Placement, Career and Tech Education, World Language and Performing Arts) in Howell or select virtual electives. In Highlander Virtual, students will attend daily virtual classes and also work independently at their own pace. A regular schedule, timelines, and weekly parent progress reports will keep students on track.
